Wedding outfit - utterly clueless and need inspiration

My sister is getting married and I have absolutely no idea what to wear! I'm utterly clueless in terms of fashion but I really don't want to look at their wedding photos and feel like I ruined then.

I'm about 5'5" and a size 18. The weight has piled on following surgery and sits entirely on my stomach (e.g. you can't tell so much from the back, but I look pregnant from the front). I'm also autistic and very sensitive to heat, so heavy fabrics of any kind are out.

Any suggestions of what might suit??? Objectively I know no one will care what I'm wearing, but I'd like to be comfortable so I can celebrate my amazing sibling on their day.

What shops do you usually shop in and what sort of clothes do you usually wear - are you a dress wearer or do you prefer trousers?

Have you looked at Scarlett & Jo.? They seem to have lovely dresses. Also Simply Be and Yours Clothing .I got a lovely dress from Vinted some time ago and it was by Adrianna Pappell. It is also worth looking on eBay I reckon.

What time of the year is the wedding?

I’m a similar size and shape and I find that a loose fitting shift dress works well. Linen, if the texture is okay for you, or cotton. Bold colours, bold jewellery, a cardigan or pashmina.

How about:

Gorgeous ombré stripes, midi length

Try a wrap dress

Pretty pink floral

It's a September wedding and I'm more of a dress person. Thanks for the links so far - I'll have a look
