Polyester everywhere!

I went shopping today and everything is polyester. Am I the only one that finds it bizarre they make summer clothes from plastic?
Ideally I'd like some cotton, 3/4 arm length tops/blouses and taper legged trousers. I do look in charity shops and vinted, but I'm a size 18 which limits my choices. Where should I look for tops up to £40 each?

to your list. They’re constantly adding to their size 18+ designs. Everything in natural fabrics, excellent jeans, dresses, and denim skirts as well as leisure wear.

Have you looked at Yours clothing? they often have nice tops.

Yeah it is but I prefer it to Viscose/Lyocell/Tencell/ Enviro whosit - all that make me sweat like buggery. I get a soaking wet back and neck with these - nothing with polyester. Those materials are everywhere!
