Can anyone help me? I'm wanting a pair of brown sandals that I can walk anywhere in and for miles but still look quite smart/stylish.

Teva ones?

They look a bit smarter than their usual walking sandals

FitFlops are amazing. I wear them so much, could walk miles in them and they seem indestructible.

cheapskatemum · 31/05/2025 16:40

@jeaux90I came on here to recommend the exact same sandals. I walk miles in them & they are really comfortable. They are hard wearing too. This is the 4th summer I’ll be wearing them.

Thank you! Really helpful suggestions

Teva or Salt-Water for me. Salt-water are very flat though so avoid if you need arch support. Teva are more squishy underfoot. Their leather styles are a bit smarter than the fabric ones.

I like the look of Birkenstock (especially the mayari style) but they make farting noises when I walk so I gave up on them! 🙈😂 If you can walk in them without the sound effects then go for it! You can't get them wet though so if you are thinking of beach wear then I'd avoid.

seconded. here are all their brown ones for women:

Personally I really love these, I have them in the black, but I think they go with anything and are so comfy!

Also like the saltwaters with the thicker soles, but they are still not as comfy as fitflop.

Tried to reply with a link but it seems to have disappeared. I have trespass sandles, walk everywhere and find them brilliant. They're on sale at the moment and have an extra 20% off with PAYDAY20 promo code. I have both the brown leather and black.

No idea why the link doesn't work, anyway they're really nice and super comfortable!

Rina66 · 01/06/2025 20:13

I have these from H & M, they’re very comfortable…

Clarks Hana Sun, I've worn them almost constantly for the last couple of months including on a week long city break with lots of walking everyday

WinterCarlisle · 01/06/2025 21:03

I have the exact same ones as @NormaMajors1992coat and actually came on to recommend them! The only caveat I’d make is that you have high arches like me they can feel a little flat. That said, I have walked miles in them and they were comfy from the very start.

I also have these in black and walked approx 25000 steps a day around Rome for a long weekend. Literally like walking in air but I appreciate they’re not to everyone’s taste.
