Light linen trousers for holiday

I usually wear jeans but would like to buy some light linen trousers for a hot holiday abroad; preferably with an elasticated waist for comfort whilst flying.

I’m 5 foot 4 and find that linen trousers are often too long, too wide or too heavy for hot weather.

I’ve just spent a couple of hours in John Lewis but didn’t see any trousers like this here; only jeans or more formal trousers. I think I’m looking in the wrong place.

I’d like a neutral/tan colour.

Primark is heaving full of them at the moment. I’m 5’3” and they are a tiny bit too long for me.

I got some great ones (M&S) on eBay last week, £10 a pair BNWT. Worth trying, or Vinted…?

Fat Face ones from vinted. I love FF linen trousers.

I’ve got these from New Look. I’m 5ft 4 too and have found it really difficult to find linen trousers that aren’t too long, so went for cropped ones instead. They are quite wide, but not overly so.

I bought these from H&M too. They’re viscose, so still really light, and really really comfortable.

Some nice cuffed ones in FatFace at the moment, the cuff helps with the length if a bit too long
