Fit flops?

I just saw the thread about fit flops and as it happens I’ve just destroyed my Birkenstocks by walking (only their third summer, disaster!). Have never glanced at fit flops because my MiL wore them! Are they worth the money?

I wear their toe post flip flops all summer. Love them. Great arch support and they fit really nicely across the top of my feet too.

Not sure they’ll be as resilient as Birkenstock for walking, as in serious walking. They’re more of an everyday thing than an adventure shoe. But for regular walking around, I’ve had mine for years and worn them daily for several months - I have 3 pairs so alternate but they’re all still in great condition.

They have a few different styles. I like their basic flipflops. Look like Haivannas. I know that’s spelled wrong!

I love Birkenstocks and have a few different pairs - haven’t seen anything on the FitFlops website that wood replacement them for me but I suppose it’s what you want really.

Im not keen on the traditional slightly wedged heel original Fitflops. But that’s a personal preference.

This was exploring a city, rather than what I’d call rough walking. But yes, the birks have been summer staples for me but the replacement prices are eye watering, so not to get three summers out of them is a bit dismaying. Looking for something really resilient to everyday wear (lots of walking) now!
