Hair looked amazing on holiday now looks crap again

The last two holidays I have been on my hair has looked great, thicker more manageable and cared for. I looked like I was wearing a wig on one photo because my hair looked really full. Now I am home it looks flat and dead again!
Is it the water and if so are there any products that I can buy to get it looking good again. I have had a bad hair day every day since I got back.

Water, atmospheric humidity, dust particles in the air. Lots of different variables could have made your hair look great. I’ve noticed my hair change on holiday the day I get there, before I’ve been near a pool, sea or the local water to wash it. Fine sandy dust in the air makes my hair look fuller (eg North Africa)

Were you by the sea? There’s something about salt. You can just make a saline spray and after you wash it. Spritz and dry in a pineapple on top of your head in one of those no kinks bobbles lots of lift and beach style gentle curls.

It could be many things but the main one for me is the water. We recently moved to a house with a water softener and my hair is in best condition it’s ever been. (We’re in a hard water area). Hairdresser said hard water has a massive negative on hair.

Get a water filter for your shower head.
