Shorts

Can anyone please help me find a nice, pair of shorts to wear on holiday. They would be for day time wear, but not for the beach.
I would rather high waisted ones that maybe even have tummy control. I like denim shorts but any nice ones would do.
I'm a size 16 and very apple shaped (slim legs, big tummy).

I have no clue where to look. Thank you for any help.

Next Boy Shorts are the nicest shorts I have had. I'm a different shape though (pear with big thighs and small waist). If you have slim legs I think they would be roomy but not too baggy - worth trying on if you can.

I've just got 2 pairs of Halara denim shorts and they're lovely! Super stretchy and comfy, decent length and great fit.
I've been wearing their jeans and trousers for a good few months now and love them. I'm an apple shape too and the stretch really makes a difference to comfort.

Bit left field, but I'm an18 and I've just bought a skort from Callaway (golf supplier). I wore some on safari last year and felt good in them.

M&S boyfriend shorts, I haven't actually managed to get into store to try them on but the pics and reviews look encouraging.

I like Marks and Spencer elasticated cotton shorts - bit like boxer shorts. Very comfy and forgiving!

I've had a lot of luck with COS shorts, both denim and cotton, and the quality is really good. They do slightly longer, bermuda length too, on some styles, so lots of options. I found the slightly flared ones tend to look better.

I’ve got this denim skort from Zara, the front bit is great for tummy covering and it just looks like shorts from the back

I really like Mango for denim shorts (literally the only thing I buy there). They have nice length and high waisted options, plus one of the few shops that I think still do good online shopping experience (returns etc).
