What do you understand by outfit repeating?

I thought it meant just wearing the same combo of items however I think it might means wearing the same outfit two days in a row. What’s your understanding?

Well, it literally means wearing the same outfit, so I expect what is intended by it will depend on context.

I imagine it's used (if it's used at all) to imply wearing the same outfit to the same occasion series - work, church, a wedding - and the disapproval shown depends on the speaker's opinions about laundry necessity and fashion importance. Some people won't wear the same thing to work two days running, some people try to have a different outfit for each wedding they attend.

I'd say it depends on context.

To some people it would mean wearing the exact same clothes again before they're washed.

To other people it would mean just repeating the same outfit - always wearing top A with trousers B.

To me it means having a uniform of sorts. In my case wide leg, high waisted trousers and a round neck top with volume in the sleeves. With a jacket if for a formal work day, without on non public contact days
