Can anyone recommend a face moisturiser with SPF that is reasonable priced? I normally use No7 but its £28 and ideally want to spend half that

I bought a SPF30 face cream from Aldi....it was only a few pounds and it's great.

I like the Nivea ones. I've used the Neutrogena one and while I usually LOVE their products, the SPF wasn't very effective even though it was supposedly super high. So I'm back to Nivea and keeping Neutrogena for night time.

The Simple one with vitamin C is also nice but I like to use my vitamin C separately. I keep that one in my car for top ups and to use almost just as ad hoc SPF when I need it.

Beauty of Joseon spf 50 - Relief Sun Rice, lovely and usually only about £12.

Altruist available on Amazon, developed by a dermatologist they do one which corrects pigmentation too. Cheap as chips and fabulous.

Another vote for Aldi. Lacura day cream spf30 in a red jar

Loreal revitalift spf 50
It was half price in Superdrug last week (down to £9.99) and in Boots this week (although showing as out of stock at the moment)

This.

Skin1004 is also really nice.

Facetheory vitamin c moisturiser is my go to. They have a great returns policy so you can try it with confidence

I love Garnier’s Vitamin C Daily UV Brightening Fluid (invisible), spf 50. Just under £8.50 per 40ml tube on offer.

I haven’t noticed any brightening, but I do feel like it’s providing good spf protection and moisturises.

TidyWasp · 27/05/2025 17:12

The CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion has been great for me so far (SPF50), especially good if you have dry skin. RRP around £16 but on offer quite regularly for £12ish.
I've just ordered The Ordinary UV Filters SPF 45 Serum as I love a lot of their other products, again around £16 but can't say how good it is yet!

I like a separate SPF to face cream and the Aldi SPF50 tinted primer they have in right now is really good. Not tinted as in it makes it look like you have makeup, it's just not white. Leaves skin looking glowy and it's only 3.99. I bought 3 tubes because I might never see it again!

Trinity69 · 27/05/2025 19:56

I use ELF. Very reasonably priced.

VanCleefArpels · 27/05/2025 19:58

All the experts would say that the spf in a face cream is too diluted to give you adequate protection. You should use a separate spf product. I like Boots all day Age Prevent spf

21ZIGGY · 27/05/2025 20:03

I just bought revitalift at sains for 7.50 spf30

UmberMoose · 21/06/2025 11:05

I generally use the garnier spf and cerave moisturiser. Here is my routine that I follow:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Garnier spf
Evening:
Cerave moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel
