Does anyone have a Lottie bag from Aspinal

I have been coveting a Lottie bag from Aspinals for a while now and think I may take the plunge. It is a lot of money for me and I don’t think I would use it all the time but that’s not putting me off.

Will definitely go for black nappa or black quilted kaviar, medium size.

Anyone have one and what is the quality like?

I don’t know about that one, I have another style and the quality is amazing, extremely high quality. You can do a recommend a friend, to get them to sign up for the website and get a money off code, I think it was 20%.
the Lottie does look lovely, I prefer the pebble leather, as the quilted looks a bit Chanel copy like.

@Calypsocuckoo thank you for replying, sounds like you love your bag. And the refer a friend sounds good. I’ll look at that, thanks.
I know the quilted lottie looks like a Chanel copy but I actually came across the lottie after a thread on here where a poster was talking about chanel bags and someone recommended the aspinal as an alternative.

I don’t have the Lottie but I have a blue hobo from about 3 years ago and I use it everyday. Great quality.

LottieBag · 26/05/2025 18:12

@Overtheatlantic thanks for replying. The hobo is lovely too. Pleased you’re happy with it.

I've been looking at bags from there but ideally id visit a branch and try on.If you have a blue light card you can get a 20% off discount.

LottieBag · 26/05/2025 18:53

@Pickled21 yes I saw definitely going to visit a branch to see. I’m thinking medium but would like to see the large. I guess I can order online for the discount. (Unfortunately don’t have a blue light card.)

I have a medium Lottie bag. It was a fancy one with embroidery that I got in the sale. The quality it fabulous. I have bags that cost ten times the Aspinal one and the quality is no better. Never pay full price though, there’s always a random offer out there!

LottieBag · 26/05/2025 20:36

@Nametobechanged thanks for replying. Good to hear the quality is so
fab. I think that was mentioned on the previous thread that the quality is really good. Going to try and use the refer a friend code.

I have 2 regular sized Lottie bags (black and burgundy caviar quilted) and love them. Goes with everything, I can wear cross body for more casual occasions and as a traditional shoulder bag for more formal ones.

I can fit quite a bit in them, they’re fully lined, sturdy and feel secure. I’ve had the black one nearly 10 years I think and there’s minimal wear and tear.

John Lewis stock Aspinal and sometimes have offers so worth checking there or waiting till Black Friday offers. Otherwise you could always buy a pre-loved one?

For comparison I have a similar sized gold Mulberry Lily (which is lovely also), but not as sturdy, unlined and needs a bag insert to keep its shape and stop it collapsing in on itself!

I have a large quilted Lottie. It’s absolutely gorgeous and well worth it. Great cross-body as flat profile but fits a lot in. Very well made and the chain is beautiful. Love mine!

I quite like the lottie in the ivory pebble. I'm undecided between the medium and large size. I'm 5 ft 4 so often large bags can look to bulky for my frame so the medium might work best.
