Please can anyone suggest anything for me? I am size 20 with v large bust. I'm losing weight slowly and i'd love to swim but I am massively self conscious about my body in anything that clings, I just feel so exposed. I have found clothes that i feel good in finally but I'm really struggling with swim/beachwear. TIA for any help.

I’m a larger size than you OP. I know it’s not popular, but I find Shein swimwear surprisingly good.

I recommend Simply Be.

I love Lands-end costumes but the sizing is way out, 2 or 3 sizes out in my experience.

Zoggs are good. I have been taking swimming lessons for a year and a half and am usually a size 16 dress size but 18 in trousers. I sized up to size 20 in Zoggs as I like a bit of give.

and don't be self conscious at the pool - just enjoy ❤️

Another vote for Bloomchic. I have two swimming costumes from them, they are very flattering.

I just wear sports swimsuits . I like the boy leg suits they sell at Decathlon, sorry can’t link.

I’ve tried loads and always come back to Speedo. Online they go up well into plus size, and the suits come up higher at the back than many others, so I feel much more confident. Lots of fashion brands go to plus size, but Speedo is the one, for me, that holds up to actual swimming, chlorine etc. I’ve got a lovely pinky red one at the moment.

Next, Amazon and Simply Be also stock then if you can’t get your size on the actual Speedo site (and sometimes cheaper).

BTW nobody is looking at you - they’re all concerned about who’s looking at them!
