Fake Boots creams on Amazon ?

I've sometimes bought Boots creams on Amazon - Future Renew at the moment.
I've often wondered how they could sell them cheaper than Boots.
They look & seem the same.
I just went to re-order, & the branding has changed. It's still called No 7 etc, but the brand is Purrfect.
Is this a con, or do Boots licence another manufacturer ?

I would say this is a con. Boots don't license another manufacturer and especially not on the No7 brand / products.

I don't buy any beauty/health products on Amazon unless they're sold by the company that make them, my DD's and I have had some shocking fakes.

I would assume that the Amazon sellers are shoplifters or staff who get a discount then sell between shop price and staff discount price.

I bought a The Ordinary product from Amazon. The box said ‘made in Canada’ and a big sticker just next to that declared it ‘made in China’. A quick google told me that Deciem (parent company) products are definitely not made in China so I returned it and got a refund. Won’t be buying skincare from Amazon again.
