Best bra for cleavage?

Hi all - I’m now a slightly squidgy size 14 after losing 4 stones on WLIs 🙌🙌

I’ve got a new jumpsuit that I’d like wear - it’s got quite a deep V (not too deep) and I’d like my 55 year old boobs to be a bit more North than South!

I’m a 38B - can anyone recommend a super-duper bra to give a bit of oomph please?

I've lost 3 stones on WLI, and I've just ordered some new bras from Bravissimo- they have a sale section, and free returns, so have ordered 3 to try.
Fantasies and Fraya have been recommended on here, and there's another thread running right now about low cut bras for lower cut tops..

The triple boost bra's are great. You can buy them from next but Asda also do them for £8

Start by measuring yourself again, I very much doubt you’re a 38B.

That’s a really good point 🙈

You're not a 38B, I'd put money on that!
The Bravissimo Niya gives great cleavage.
Measure yourself using the Boob or Bust method.

Ann Summers The Hero ( padded version). They make my G cups absolutely eye popping but it's also good quality and supportive.

you’re probably right!

do Bravissino do the smaller cups?

@KnewYearKnewMe I would also suggest getting measured properly. I have lost weight too recently. I now have teeny tiny boobs. I went to the shops to be fitted assuming I would be the same band size with much smaller cups. Imagine my surprise when I discovered I was a much smaller band size and the cup size stayed the same. My little boobs (so small I can get away without a bra under a sundress these days) definitely need a bit of help to be seen but are still a D cup. When I was size 14 I was a 34 or 36 DD.

DisplayPurposesOnly · 24/05/2025 17:27

I'm now a size 14. I'm a 34 band. So you could be a 34D - but you really really need to measure.

(I got measured in a Bravissimo shop. I say measured, she look at me and said you're 34F and brought me two bras that fit. Completely painless experience 😆)

lindyloo57 · 24/05/2025 17:33

I'm a size 12 and wear a 34D and they are so tight that I have deep red marks when I take them off, have tried a DD but don't fill the cups so much

I bet they will have something that fits you.
I went from a 36B to a 32FF when I measured properly. I had cleavage for the first time in my life that wasn't created by filets!

FairyPoppins · 24/05/2025 17:48

@KnewYearKnewMe ... it is good.. I was an 18 top, 14/16 bottoms... seem to have lost most of my weight on my tum, bum & legs.
I still have a couple of bras from before covid - which along with a change in job,and menopause, seemed to help my weight gain!..these do still fit at a 36dd... before the weight loss I was a 38e

I’ve just bought this Triumph bra for a deep V dress. It’s given me a fantastic cleavage - I’m thrilled.

Myblueclematis · 24/05/2025 18:11

Another one who would say get to a proper bra fitter to get the correct size bra.

It has made a huge difference to my shape and that it actually holds my boobs in the right place and they look so much smaller and neater now that they are properly encased in the cup of the bra. I'm actually thrilled with how my frontage looks now.

I so wish I'd got properly measured years ago.

Thank you all.

Any recommendations for good bra fitting services?

Do you have a "The Bra Lady" franchise near you, or a Bravissimo shop?

Asda t-shirt bra. I think they are £5 now. Changed my life.

KnewYearKnewMe · 31/05/2025 12:38

Thank you all for your advice and recommendations.

I am visiting a friend in a few weeks who has a traditional bra shop in her town - I’m going to book in for a fitting.

in the meantime - I ordered some of the Ann Summers bras to try.. turns out that the 36D fits me perfectly - you were all right, I am definitely not a 38B (was wearing a 42B pre WLIs).

I love the way the Ann Summers bra fits and makes me look.

thanks again everyone.
