Always between sizes for trousers/skirts

I find it terribly difficult to find trousers and skirts to fit me. First of all, I am petite - but at least most things can be taken up.

But I also seem to be always between sizes. I am slim and don’t have an unusual shape. Often the next size up is just too big.

I have just bought some trousers and they only just fit on the waist so might move the button to give myself an extra 1 cm.

and yes, in the past I have paid to get things adjusted but got put off after a couple of bad experiences with clothes being ruined.

anyone else have this problem?

well, there is a simple answer to being between sizes. You could always either diet or eat alot of cake! (I would def pick the cake!😊).

@henlake7 ha, ha yes!! Joking aside, I have always been the same size except when pregnant so I think I am stuck with it!

Buy the larger size and have it tailored to fit?
