Really Comfy Heels

Shambles123 · 22/05/2025 11:03

I am looking for a pair of gorgeous evening summer heeled shoes, neutral as only want to take one pair away for whole week. Will be a city week though so need them to be super comfy for walking a lot! Not keen on kitten heels!

Anyone have any brands they could recommend?

Definitely Esska! They have an eBay store with samples/seconds that are very reasonable.

I have 2 pairs of these (Linizi Charlotte from Next) & they are extremely comfy. I wore them for hours and there was no rubbing, aching etc.

A bit marmite but I like the new ugg height sandals, they are very comfy

What about Moshulu? I “can’t” walk in heels but I have some from there that are very comfy for an evening thing. Not wildly stylish perhaps but I like them.

If you like the chie Miharis but want a lower price tag, Google Bobbies.

I did and now it's your fault that I'm coveting these sparkly, rose gold, Cinderella shoes with no idea where I might be able to wear them.

I feel Carvela/Kurt Geiger heels are as comfy as heels can be. Had a few pairs over the years and they’re always my faves x

I don't think this is the kind of comfort the OP had in mind 😅

Shambles123 · 23/05/2025 08:52

@RosesAndHellebores love bobbies!

I have looked at Uggs, that Geox one and the fit flops. I am looking for something a little more 'standard' glamour/pretty I think.

Thanks everyone!

Some of the suggestions here are bleak, I assume you want something pretty. They are expensive but as suggested by PP you can't go wrong with ESSKA Charlie or similar. They are so comfy, I'm not a heel person but these are so good I'd happily wear them for an active evening on holiday. I picked mine up off ebay so worth keeping an eye out. Gold is a neutral 😜

I bought a lovely pair of gold heeled strappy sandals for holidays. They are mid-height with a flared heel so no getting trapped down cobblestones etc. gold goes with everything so just one pair in the case! I am sure they were Linzi and yes they are very comfortable.

I'm not sure you need heels to look more dressy for the evening? If you have limited luggage, something like this might look nice but could also be an extra pair for walking in the daytime

Roman and Pavers also do lots of flat strappy sandals with more delicate straps.

Chunky Leather Sandals - GAB39509 / 325 075

Step into laid-back luxury with Gabor. These chunky-soled casual sandals feature a soft nubuck leather upper and a subtly elevated heel, with a lightly cushioned insole, they're designed for all-day ease, making every summer stride a breeze.

Sargasso & Gray, and Sole Bliss are both designed to be elegant comfortable heels, especially flattering for those with wider feet. They are beautifully made and not cheap, but if you are in the market for F&F they shouldn't be too much of a wallet shock.

I find hush puppies really comfortable

CatsnCoffee · 25/05/2025 10:29

Walking with a wedgy is never comfortable…sorry I misread that!
