Need a backpack for holiday which will be mostly used for airports and day out. I have a 4 year old so need a backpack with large capacity for snacks and other things for entertaining her. Please give me your suggestion. I don't want anything too expensive but usually around £30. Thank you

I bought this from Amazon last week for DD Duke of Edinburgh hike. Did her very well. It’s big and has lots of external pockets for snacks. £35

Andes Ramada 120l.

120l! Bloody hell that's big! My dc did their silver with 50L youth fit bags and had plenty of space. Continuing to gold I treated them to a well fitting adult bag which is 65L.

Anyway.OP when you say a bag for holiday do you mean to carry all your stuff for the holiday or do you mean a bag to use as hand luggage and days out? For days out around 40L is a practical size to fit a change of clothes and plenty of drinks and snacks and odds and sods. A bag with a curved zip fastening is less practical than a more square top or drawstring and lid because you can't squish as much in and it is less forgiving on bulky items.

Its more for day out and to keep things in it. I am also carrying a hand luggage with us but I don't want to open it every few minutes when she asks for something so need a backpack for water bottles, snacks, her activitiy books, wipes etc.

get an XL Heritage Herschel

really roomy and comfortable and made of excellent material and a sturdy zip.

I love mine which I’ve had for years

If it is as a bag for days out then most hiking day out type bags will fit the bill. Do you have a mountain warehouse near you? You could pop down a have a look and find something with the right combination of pockets for you. Or this trespass bag looks decent and the the fairly large second pocket should make it easy to keep snacks separate.

Trespass Albus 30. Currently £20.99 and has 3 separate compartments plus smaller organisers so handy for keeping snacks, toys and spare clothes separate.

Thank you ! Just what I was looking for. Going to order one from amazon as they have better price on it 😁
