Lashes for beginner

I have a big work event soon and fancy trying out false lashes. I have never tried them before. Can anyone recommend some that aren’t too expensive that are good and easy for an absolute beginner?

I haven't any experience of falsies, but would highly recommend a lash lift and tint. They curl and arrange your own lashes so they look amazing, it lasts up to 6 weeks. I suppose it depends on how healthy your lashes are already. It's the only beauty treatment I ever have done.

I don't wear lashes often but I find Ardell lashes with the Eyelure glue the best combination for me. I'm lucky that the Ardell lashes are the exact length of my eye though!

I've found making sure the glue is tacky, rather than wet, is most important. I usually wait 45 seconds after applying the glue.

Unlike the previous poster, I'm not a fan of lash lift and tint. I've got long lashes but they're fine so I don't get the same effect. If you've got lovely thick lashes then they probably make a bigger difference.

A lot of people rave about the magnetic lashes but I've never been able to get on with them! Always end up with them half hanging off 🤣

DD wears them
she wears all sorts but Primark have loads of different ones you can practice with. Use the blue Duo lash glue because it’s the best apparently

lisa Eldridge has a great video on how to apply and remove
