Conditioner - can I buy it?

The conditioner that comes in a tube with boxed hair dye? I think that it's brilliant. I love how soft and swishy it makes my hair but I haven't box dyed in years.

Can I find it anywhere to buy or is there a tried and tested alternative? Thanks!

Josh Woods so something called a ‘miracle shot’.

I throw that conditioner away, from the box dye, as it feels like it’s just coating my hair with something I don’t want it to be. So you could ask around your friends to see if one of them uses box dye and doesn’t use the conditioner.

Try vinted, you might be able to find someone who likes the box dye but doesn't use the conditioner I have done that before. If it happens to be clairol nice and easy I've seen it sold separately in boots before

I know what you mean about that conditioner! My mum colours her hair and used to save the tubes for me. I don't have any suggestions, but it's really thick and moisturising, so might be like a hair mask type product?

CoastalCalm · 19/05/2025 09:05

Not sure if they still sell it but they did used to but all it does is coat hair with silicon - I wouldn’t use it personally

I always sell the conditioner that comes with my Castings hair dye on eBay.

BeansCounter · 19/05/2025 11:44

Thanks all! I didn't realise that so many didn't use it. I'll have a look.

So all it does is mask a problem rather than cure it. I'll have a look for the miracle shot.

The Lidl dupe of the Garnier Hair Food masks in a tub is a good alternative to the conditioner or the Garnier Hair Food mask itself.

ouch321 · 19/05/2025 12:07

Are you talking about the Nice N Easy hair dye range?
Becos that conditioner is superb but not for sale on its own AFAIK

BeansCounter · 19/05/2025 15:39

I've found it on eBay but having second thoughts if it's not great for your hair.

Like makeup then? I don't see the problem with that in itself.

I love this conditioner! Can you remember what it was called?

LuxuryWoman2020 · 20/05/2025 12:03

The Clairol Nice & Easy used to be sold separately but was discontinued some years ago. I managed to snap up loads on clearance for about 10p a tube.

Superdrug did or does their own version but it's not the same.

I think esalon sell their conditioner in big bottles. They do custom hair colour I used before I got highlights and I totally get you. I love the way it feels !

ByQuaintAzureWasp · 20/05/2025 12:11

I'm not keen but my sister loves it, so she gets mine.
