From the front it seems ok, but from the back…it’s an absolute birds nest.

I had it cut just over a week ago.

I’m trying to avoid heat, but this is what it looked like after washing, leave in conditioner, curl crème, anti frizz serum, and air drying.

If I did use heat…straighteners etc, it would look like a huge frizz.

I’m so sick of being menopausal and scruffy….can anyone suggest what to try next, other than a pixie cut (don’t have the jawline for that!)

Nanokeratin treatment. Stops all the frizz. You need the actual nanokeratin one though as it’s gentle and not harsh

Do you have a link @FoxChops? I’ve tried K18 but to no avail.

I have it done at a salon - wouldn’t dare do it myself! I then use the specific nanokeratin brand shampoo and conditioner

I have it done every 12-16 weeks - let me see if I can grab a photo

What is the hair dye situation? Is it bleached? I’d also second some kind of treatment like keratin or olaplex etc. or a Brazilian blow dry?

The bleached bits are growing out as I had dyed red hair which had to be bleached out about a year ago@Peaceandquietandacuppaand I’ve had some highlights to try and lift the grey/mousy colour.
