Can’t get away with h and m anymore
the materials are too thin and don’t fit well

Uniqlo
&Stories
Arket
Huit for Jeans
M&S very selectively
Zara
Tu for occasional great finds (I have an amazing cotton gingham embroidered balloon sleeved blouse from there that looks great with jeans).

I am picky about quality and like natural fibres and interestig details, so tend to forage rather tham stick to one shop.

I was thinking yesterday a lot of my go to clothes are pretty ancient, I wore a cotton French Connection blouse last week is a good 18 years old.

I mainly buy preloved but look for Next, White Stuff, M and S, ideally stuff made a few years ago when it was all better quality. I'm now avoiding Primark, H and M, Zara. I refuse to use Shein or Temu. Approaching 50.

I still have a lot of workwear from Finery that I bought when I had a more formal job and ore vcovid workwear expectatoons were different. That was before it got boring and cheap looking.

Oh and I have a good number of interesting cotton summer skirts and tops from Oliver Bonas, but they seem to have become a bit shit in the last year or so - all tiers and terrible recycled polyester.

I buy from different brands based on what I’m looking for. This year I have a coat from Uniqlo, jeans from Abercrombie, jeans from River Island, a sweatshirt from Mint Velvet, trainers from Zara, T-shirts from New Look and Jigsaw, a jacket from M&S.

Like pp, I have to rummage to find natural fabrics and quality feeling items which don’t necessarily match to a brand. It’d be hard work if I didn’t like shopping.

The Premium range from H&M (available online) is better quality.

Honestly wherever I see something i like. That could be Primark (I like their basic fitted v neck tshirts), Superdry for their jeans and jumpers, hoodies come from the England Rugby shop (best ones I've found).

Occasionally Next for trousers, shorts are from Fat Face. Linen trousers came from Tesco (100% linen too). Occasionally ASOS.

Thermal tops from M&S. I don't get the love for M&S, think a lot of the clothes are frumpy and shapeless but I like their long sleeved thermal tops.

Trainers come straight from Puma.

The last item I bought was a pair of jeans from Fat Face, before that an England hoodie (I was at Twickenham) and a jumper from Roman.

I don't buy much though as I spend most of my time in jeans or my gym kit.
