Should I keep this Longchamp bag?

I am having a big clear out. But don’t want to get rid of anything I will regret. Do you think this bag looks current or is it really dated?

Should I keep this Longchamp bag?

Nope. Very dated and cheap looking - nothing like a modern day Longchamp

MounjaroMounjaro · 17/05/2025 14:38

I'm sorry, but I agree with that.

insomniac1 · 17/05/2025 14:46

I like it!!

isthismylifenow · 17/05/2025 14:49

How long have you had it, and how many times have you used it?

It is no doubt a decent quality bag, but if you haven't used it much there must be a reason why.

If you don't plan on using it in the very near future, then I would sell it.

smallsilvercloud · 17/05/2025 14:52

I really like it however if you don’t use it and won’t miss it, sell it.

Whiteflowerscreed · 17/05/2025 14:53

It’s pretty classic. If you don’t use it, sell it

shuffleofftobuffalo · 17/05/2025 14:53

Really dated I’m afraid. If you’re not using it sell it - or try using it and see if it rekindles the flame.

LoafofSellotape · 17/05/2025 15:04

What dates it? I've not got a clue, I'd still use it in brown but I dislike black bags.

Newmeagain · 17/05/2025 15:05

Thanks all - no, I have not used it in ages. I think I will let it go.

A good quality classic bag is timeless and I’d hang on to it as you’ll always need a black bag.

Yes - I have actually changed my mind and decided to keep it - it’s so beautifully made so maybe I will try using it more…

@Newmeagain I think it’s a beautiful bag. The leather looks like great quality and Longchamp is a classic and well respected name, particularly in France (in the UK people just tend to know them for Le Pliage but that’s down to ignorance). That style (if you remove the shoulder strap) is very similar to what Vogue UK are calling “doctor bags” that are very on trend for this spring/summer.

Copperoliverbear · 17/05/2025 23:20

Get rid.

beautyobessed · 17/05/2025 23:22

I think it’s a really stylish bag!! Keep it!!

Newmeagain · 17/05/2025 23:33

Thank you @beautyobessed and @HundredMilesAnHour

I agree with @HundredMilesAnHour- if you take off the shoulder strap it would look good.
