primer for liquid eye liner

i am middle aged and someone, my liquid eye liner doesn't stick as well anymore. May well be my aging eye lids

I tried the green Elf primer and it's ok but I am not wowed by it. Are there others I could try. Something to find in boots if possible.

I just use skin coloured eyeshadow or pressed powder

I tend to use waterproof eye liner and it won’t go anywhere. My favourite is MAC 24hr

Urban decay primer potion or too faced shadow primer.
Nars shadow primer pretty good as well but too faced is the best for my oily lids.
