Has anyone else seen them or have DC that have mentioned them? Went into town yesterday with DM and saw lots of these monster type keyrings on handbags. Curious as to what they are 😅feeling very out of touch and my age RN.

Following to find out as well! They keep popping up on my friends Instagram stories and I’m baffled 😅

Do you mean bag charms ? Like a decorative key ring type thing - you can hang them on your bag to change its look / give a bit of interest to a plain bag if you like. Swapping them out to match different looks / outfits etc... They have been around a little while, along with scarves / twillies that you can tie on the bags too.

Google Labubu’s ! A huge craze and basically a money making machine!!

Yeah bag charms is probably a better way of describing them - I mean, I'm familiar with bag charms but these labubu things what @Nevernottrying has shared are creepy

Woah it is a craze you're right - I wonder why I've not seen anything about them on my socials. Although I'm not on TikTok so that might be why I suspect

Edited

I've been down a rabbit hole - never heard of Pop Mart and now I've spent at least two hours just browsing. The little face grows on you doesn't it. I mean, I'm a nerd at heart and grew up playing Pokemon - never heard of this character though!

Trying to talk my way out of buying one, so it's probably good that they're OOS

I keep seeing them on tiktok. People do videos of going to try and find one to buy as they're hard to get. Then unboxing videos. Major craze. Personally I think they're awful but the videos get loads of likes so are obviously popular.

treetopsgreen · 22/05/2025 16:00

I have one that my sister brought me back from holiday last year. I don't like the fact it's a craze now though as feel a bit conspicuous. I also am surprised that it's a craze, they are odd looking things!

themumformerlyknownas · 23/05/2025 09:54

Yeah craze is the right word - some of the footage I've seen online of people fighting in queues to get into the store that sells them. Bonkers! Managed to nab mine via Amazon, though, which I was susprised at!
