Summer cover ups for self harm scars

Morning!
I have significant historical self harm scarring which stands out more in the summer because they are white and raised whilst the rest of my lower arm becomes tanned and freckly.

This is fine with friends - everyone knows and they are 30 years old now. But I am uncomfortable with it professionally.

i have always covered up with cardigans and so on, but I have recently dropped from a 16/18 to an 8/10 and consequently would like to consider some other options.

i tend to wear nice tees or short sleeve blouses with wide leg trousers, cotton skirts and summer dresses. I would also like some wide strap shell type tops (ideas for this welcome too).

Generally prefer natural fabrics - cotton, silk etc but do wear some recycled polyester/ viscose. I have sensory issues so needs to be soft. I would prefer either lighter summer colours - more whites and pinks to blues / greens - and also brights - pinks/purples/reds.

Prices - mid high street - Marks, John Lewis, Cos etc. Could stretch higher for one really good piece. Happy with vinted etc. Would rather swerve Primark etc due to fabric quality.

Hit me with your ideas!

Thank you!

Oh well done on surviving what would have been a lot trauma.
i have met a tattoo artist once how specialises on covering self harm scars with beautiful tattoos ?would this be an option.
i have seen somebody wear lacy coverings .. sort of like wrist warmers but a summer version… made soft stretchy material to or just above elbow… she worse bracelets over the top and looked very stylish.
There is a current trend laters bracelets too.

Thanks. Yes I have seen lots that are elbow or three quarter length and they look lovely but I need full arm coverage. Will google lacy ones though, that’s a good idea. 🙂

Oh sorry I misunderstood- do you mean like lacy covers for lower arms ? Never seen anything like that, I will investigate. I do like the look of tats on others but not for me.
