I’m in a style rut and don’t know what to wear/buy - can you help?

Hoping some S&B pros could help recommend some brands/looks/items to refresh my wardrobe a bit!

I’m 31 and have a 6-month-old. I’m a size 8-10 and we live semi-rurally so lots of dog walking and outdoorsing (clothes would need to be practical-ish, I think is what I’m saying). I also WFH so can get away with more informal stuff and don’t need a ‘work wardrobe’ apart from a few days a month.

For years I’ve stuck with the skinny jeans and Breton top combo, with Doc Martens in the winter and Birks in the summer. But all of my clothes are looking tired now (nothing seems to last like it used to!) and I could do with updating, and I’d love to look a bit better put together.

Can anyone recommend brands or pieces to look out for (I’ve normally gone for Topshop/Uniqlo/Seasalt/Crew)?

Thanks so much if you’re able to advise!

I had a similar situation a few years ago, felt really stuck in a style rut not knowing where to shop or what to buy or what I even liked anymore. I started on Pinterest and just made lots of searches for fashion, outfits, things to wear in your 30's, outfits sized 8-10, and anything that caught my eye unsaved to a board. Eventually I started to see a pattern of similar styles I liked and that I was drawn to and then I just clicked on the links and usually it tells you where it's from or the name of the style, which you can then Google where to buy. It helped me and now I feel more confident in what I like and to look for when shopping. Good luck!
