Looking for a good fragrance free primer - The Ordinary has been discontinued

I have used The Ordinary high adherence silicone primer for heads but it has been discontinued unfortunately.

I am allergic to perfume and I am therefore looking for a fragrance free primer, which is as good as The Ordinary.

I have spent ages only trying to find one unsuccessfully, so I thought perhaps someone could help! Thanks!

I use this. It’s fantastic, have found the list of ingredients too so you can check through them for your allergy.

It seems to be out of stock unfortunately…

Oh what a shame.

This website is helpful, it’s from the US but a lot of the brands are available over here. I can’t recommend the other primers but this website will help you find one that will be safe for you to use as it has lots of allergy information on all of the products.

Wait what? It's been discontinued? I use it all the time! Why is it always the products I like that get canned?

@Appleandcinnamoncrumble Did you ever find a good alternative to The Ordinary? I'm just finishing my last drop :-(

Appleandcinnamoncrumble · 28/09/2025 21:17

I have found one from Laura Mercier (fragrance free too) which is good, but more expensive unfortunately.

Did anyone find a good replacement for The Ordinary primer? Laura mercier one too expensive for me. According to AI, best alternative to the ordinary one (that is budget friendly, minimises pores, combination skin in my 50s, animal cruelty free) is indeed labs nanoblur....but out of stock everywhere!!
