The best tinted moisturiser?

Years ago I used to love Clinique's Sheer Tint in 'Blonde' as my Summer foundation, until they bloody discontinued it.

Can you please tell me about your best tinted moisturizer that will sit very well over my Biore Watery Essence SPF50.

I can’t say if it will sit over another product but I am currently loving Erborian. It’s odd as it’s white when it goes on but then just seems to match my skin. I am still currently wearing of foundation but she yea really hot enough to ditch it I’m definitely going to wear Erborian instead.

Thank you, I already use Eborian but never think of it as a moisturizer? Interesting.

I like the Boots No 7 tinted moisturiser and the hydra luminous skin protector.

Edited to add that I always use my normal moisturiser first though.

I love Nars Pure Radiant tinted moisturiser, have used it for years but I do use a moisturiser underneath as I've never found a tinted moisturiser to be that moisturising by themselves. The Nars one gives a lovely, dewy finish. I just use the cheap Simple moisturiser underneath, and the combo works well for me.

My Nars colour was out of stock for a while so I recently tried MaxFactor Miracle Pure foundation as it's supposed to be hydrating. Again over my normal moisturiser. I quite liked the dewy finish but it has hyaluronic acid which stings if I get it in my eyes (annoying since it's supposed to help with fine lines, like the ones near my eyes!) so I've abandoned that now my usual Nars one is back in stock.

I love L'Oréal lumi lotion

I have never found a TM that actually moisturises properly so always wear Erborian over a moisturiser.

Another vote for Nars. I have used foundation for years but I like the coverage of Nars so much so I've been confident wearing it to work. I find that by the end of the day the coverage is not as good but by that time I'm on my way home anyway. Also I have dry skin so sometimes need a bit of extra moisturiser underneath but in summer I usually use sunscreen which provides enough moisture.

Hi,

For good coverage - IT Cosmetics CC cream.

For sheer, beautiful coverage (but does not last near as long) ELF Halo Glow.

I love both but use ELF all the time.

minipie · 12/05/2025 22:45

I like NARS, it has quite high pigment for a tinted moisturiser, it’s half way to a foundation. However the colours are too yellow for me sadly.

Erborian in the silver tube (the one that goes on while) is the opposite, very sheer coverage so only for “good skin days”

Erborian in the white tube is not bad but only 2 colours and they are very similar

Laura Mercier dewy finish tinted moisturiser is nice and better for neutral/pinky tones compared with NARS

suah · 12/05/2025 22:50

I can’t recommend one but I recently bought the Origins Ginzing one and it’s rubbish

Piapea · 12/05/2025 22:52

Another vote for NARS!!

MrsMattSantos · 12/05/2025 23:12

Definitely Nars. Not cheap but worth it. Decent coverage, nice finish and good range of shades

Shoemadlady · 12/05/2025 23:22

I love the Estée Lauder sheer tint but it’s a bit spenny x

HipHipWhoRay · 12/05/2025 23:25

I’m with @minipie. I loved NARS but it was just a bit too yellow. Laura Mercier much better if pinker hue
Erbirian has a strong smell to it, and also doesn’t sink in as well
currently trying Milk, and it’s nice (in pink spectrum), but think Laura M still has the edge

Sallystopppedwaiting · 13/05/2025 00:32

I have used this for years , I never wear foundation but lately it feels like the texture has changed a little. This week tried this with these Glow drops underneath. Today even my 19 year old son commented on how well I looked.😀. I use a different sunscreen so I can’t comment on how yours will work. It’s definitely the best I have tried ( I have sampled a lot ) It gives a beautiful glow and looks lovely even at the end of the day.

I didn’t think that I would ever be swayed away from my Chantecaille just skin but I think that the Rodail Glass skin has me hooked now.You can match your previous product and colour on their site , this worked really well for me. I would highly recommend using it with the glow drops.

Lisa Eldridge.

This skin tint is lovely. I found the Nars and IT cosmetics too heavy and the Erborian very 🍊

Needapadlockonmyfridge · 13/05/2025 07:34

Cheap as chips, but for summer Garnier BB cream is really good. I use moisturiser first, let it absorb, then BB then a bit of mineral powder over the top.

WrinklesShminkles · 13/05/2025 11:06

I've just started using the new Laura Mercier blurring tinted moisturiser and it goes over the Biore SPF really well. Skin-like finish rather than glowy.
