New jeans are a let down

I've lost weight decided to treat myself to a pair of expensive jeans. I went into a Levis shop at a designer outlet and tried on a pair of jeans. They were absolutely fabulous. Fabulous!!!! They sucked me in at all the right places and skimmed over the other places that I wanted skimmed over. They took a stone off me and I checked and checked and twirled and sat and even consulted the loveable mirror to see myself from the back. I was delighted to buy them. They were around 80 quid.

So I put them on yesterday and was still pleased. I waited a while before taking the tabs off but after more twirling and prancing, I cut them off. I wore the jeans all day and into the evening and have put them on again today but they seem to have settled into a weird shape that i don't like and whatever they were pumping into the air to make me think they looked good from behind has now worn off, and now they don't.

I mean they're fine but I just feeling a bit meh.

Looking for anyone else with similar first world problems.

Did they have slimming mirrors in the shop? I remember they were a thing in the 90s.

I don't know but when I looked down, my pot belly was gone.

I may have lost a kg since buying the jeans. Wonder if that's what's happened

Jeans always loosen up a bit.
Are you sure they’re not still nice? Seems extreme to be so happy one day, and disappointed the next.

But you still liked them yesterday? You haven’t lost a kg since then

I find tight jeans look best immediately after washing. I tend to wash mine every wear and then they’re fine.

I wear skinny 501’s and Levi only recommend washing cool every 10 wears!
I’m sure you’ll end up getting used to a different shape.
Congratulations on your weight loss

They are fine. Thing is, I have 2 problem areas that stop me from wearing jeans and when i tried the Levis on, they were gone for the first time in my life. They just aren't the miracle workers I thought they were. I'll live 😄

*moveable mirror

Shame I much prefer the idea of a loveable mirror! 😆
