Mandala undercut?

I have an undercut which I love! This is frequently shaved. I'd love to have a mandala pattern shaved in. Any experiences of doing so? Would a barber do it? 😃

I think some would and some wouldn't (just because no reason that makes sense). I'd just go in and ask a few.

Yes loads of experience ! I had an undercut for years , went to all the fancy foreign barbers and waited for ‘the man’ who does the fancy shapes …. Literally never had a good one . Used to go armed with my Pinterest inspo and came out looking like a twat every time tbh. One dragon fly came out looking like a star wars fighter , a wonky mandala with lines of different thickness , a bow that got lost in translation and they did backwards and shaved the middle out . In the end I admitted defeat and would just ask them to do whatever they wanted / thought they could do well, which turned out to be fuck all. I eventually grew it out after they gave me what looked like a massive swastika and I had to wear my hair down till it grew out . They were also really expensive !

It wasn’t a well executed Star Wars fighter it was more of a ‘ guess what it is ‘ . Also to actually answer the op some barbers were reluctant most were ok they also charge a fucking fortune for it.

Has anyone has their undercut shaved only in between proper haircuts? A local hairdresser has agreed to do mine, but I forgot to ask how much it would cost.

I used to go to a turkish barbers to have mine done with a straight razor, they were brilliant at it. Even if I did get an odd look everytime.

Been to one Turkish barber who looked at me like I had 3 heads. It was a definite NO 😂

Mind does it in between for free ( a bit like a fringe trim) but I do pay a lot every 5 weeks in the salon for my cut and colour
