What would you recommend for a mum of two young kids who wants to upgrade her wardrobe but doesn't have time for handwashing or carefully treating delicate clothes?

Particularly, I’m looking for stylish yet reliable jumpers and cardigans that require minimal care and don’t pill easily. Do garments like that even exist?

I’d really appreciate any recommendations, especially from experience, for everyday elevated practical and good-looking basics.

Natural materials so cotton t shirts/ long sleeve t shirts and wool cardigans and jumpers.

Uniqlo worth a look.

I dont think they do, which is why for me I wear cashmere. Mine are from M&S, quite reasonable and have been perfect to wear this spring. They haven’t pilled and I actually find them incredibly easy to care for. Gentle wash, low spin and horror of horrors I stick them on a hanger to dry too.

Oh that’s excellent to know M&S cashmere don’t pill. I like the feel of cashmere. Thank you, will have a look!

I find M&S merino very good too. I have loads of their basic round necks in different colours, they don't seem to pill.
