When I go to the states I normally pack casual clothes for the daytime, lots of shorts and tshirts/vests depending on how hot it is. Most importantly a comfortable pair of trainers if you're going to be doing a lot of walking! a A hoodie/zip up jacket is a good idea for any cooler mornings/evenings.

For evenings, it depends what you have planned? Linen trousers can be dressed up or down and will keep you cool enough. What sort of things do you have planned as it would be easier to recommend?

Don't forget a burner phone with no links to your social media.

Where are you going and what will you be doing?

Assuming general sight seeing during the day and maybe some nice meals or shows in the evening you'll want:
trainers, sandals and maybe some nice slip ons if sandals aren't enough for evening
2 or 3 pairs shorts
4 or 5 tshirts/vests
Shirt or other light cover up
Hoodie or light jacket
2 or 3 evening skirts/trousers
3 or 4 nicer evening tops
Wrap or cardigan
Large bag, small bag/clutch / jewelry/couple of belts or scarves

Choose 4 colours that all go with each other eg navy, soft white, sea green, mid blue.

Obviously just my opinion. My real preference would be a unique outfit for each day but that's a huge faff. You could also get away with much less if you were happy.

You will need to stick some of the day things through the hotel laundry or wash in the sink. I think this is far preferable to taking loads. If you don't want to do laundry assume most things can be worn 3 times max and take more.

Thankyou all so much for your advise , I always pack clothes that don’t get worn 🙈

I'm.not too sure in F but assume hot!

Can you do laundry?

I'd go for
2x shorts
6x t shirts/vests
2x maxi dress
Trainers
Sandals
Flip flops
4x socks
7x undies/bras
Hats
Hoodie

I like to shower twice a day on a hot holiday, hence so many more tops and undies. I'd do 2 or 3 washes, depending if you want to bring clean stuff home.

Def bring t shirts/shirts for poolside, a hoodie/cardi for evening and always remember to cover your shoulders because sunburn is miserable.

Bring a hat, it's so easy to get sunstroke.

Wear or bring jeans for the plane and for anywhere that might be cold (AC is everywhere and I was always surprised at getting cold!)
