I rate the HR Hair Repair leave in conditioner.

Sorry to hijack but it’s Aldi related!! Has anyone got the Dyson hair styler dupe? I’m tempted…but it’s still £60 that I wouldn’t want to spaff if it’s rubbish

I got it before Christmas when it was in and I love it but my teenage dd hates it. I find curling my hair really hard but I can make my hair look great with this.

Products wise I like the tropical essence body moisturiser, a few people have commented asking me what scent I'm wearing when it's just the moisturiser. I like their rose oil too and I love the wonder spray, it does magical things for my hair.

supercatlady · 07/05/2025 22:21

I love the collagen lip oil.

BeretRaspberry · 07/05/2025 22:41

Is the lip oil available all the time?

MrsCarson · 07/05/2025 23:30

Lacura Q10 day cream spf 20 Is great. I've been using it for many years now, it melts into your skin beautifully. Before this I used Oil of Olay seven signs of aging and Aldi cream feels better and doesn't smell.

Pollyanna87 · 08/05/2025 17:51

The Lacura shampoo and conditioner in the orange packaging, great for my very oily hair.

Aiiii · 08/05/2025 17:53

Is the HR Hair Repair supposed to be a dupe of something or is it a Lacura standalone?

greengreyblue · 08/05/2025 17:56

The Caviar creams are good. Used to love the pear and freesia liquid soap but they don’t do it anymore. They just have loads of pomegranate and lime and basil. 🤨

Ornamentalcabbages · 08/05/2025 18:26

It's only as a special buy (but is currently in store!), but I love the "Miracle Spray" (£4.99).

Comes in a flat grey bottle, and it supposed to act as a blow dry anti-humidity spray, however I find it works better as a pre-straightening spray!

I've had so many compliments over the condition of my hair since using it (and my hair is normally very thick, curly, and a bugger to keep straight!).

Rosierambles · 08/05/2025 18:34

@Pollyanna87 I must try this as I'm a greaseball but with coloured hair !

Rosierambles · 08/05/2025 18:34

I love the caviar night cream and feel like it smells like a boots product from 2007 o got in my baby bag they used to do. I used that Huggies back and all the goodies for ages 🥰

Barrowlands · 08/05/2025 18:37

Another vote for the Miracle spray. It’s a dupe of the Colour Wow spray and it works exactly the same on my hair and is a fifth of the price.

QueenAstrid · 08/05/2025 18:39

I also love the Miracle spray, it transforms my hair. They have it in stock at the moment.

Griffyn · 08/05/2025 18:47

The dupe for Weleda skin food in the green tube was great - sadly no longer available 😢

lozzerjam650 · 08/05/2025 18:49

The Caviar creams are great. I like that they are thick creams. Must be made by La Prairie, right? The one they do in a gold pot now and again is also lovely.

Ah they were selling these off in my local Aldi at the weekend for 99p so I bought three!

The Lacura Marine Cream is a great dupe for Elemis’ Procollagen Marine Cream and at £7 a jar it’s a fraction of the price!

I bought 3 when they were last in stock at Christmas and am currently halfway through my second one so hoping it’s back again soon!

TheWeeDonkeyFella · 08/05/2025 19:46

I tried an eye cream called Intensive Eye Cream before Christmas and was so impressed I bought a couple more in case it disappeared and it did just that (just wish I properly stocked up!). From memory it was less than a fiver and no idea if it's a dupe of something else but hoping it comes back again.

ruethewhirl · 08/05/2025 20:20

frugalkitty · 07/05/2025 20:15

I really liked the cleansing balm although it wasn't a dupe for Elemis, it was closer to the body shop version in terms of texture.
I read recently that they've discontinued the hot cloth cleansers.

Noooo! I love the hot cloth cleansers, as good as Liz Earle imo and I really like the scent of the pink clay one. They also did a pineapple one at one time that smelt amazing. I’d have thought they’d be a big seller, surprised they’re being discontinued!

I also like the Rejuvelate moisturisers, suspect they’re meant to be a dupe of Revitalift as similar texture. Hope they’ve not discontinued those too, I haven’t been in for a bit.

groovylady · 08/05/2025 20:47

The rose cleansing balm is great - it's an elemis dupe, I think?
As are the stick deodorants
I've not managed to get a hold of the rose face oil yet...

Doubleraspberry · 08/05/2025 20:56

The hot cloth cleanser is still in stock online so you could stock up?

Flamerouge · 10/05/2025 21:55

Another vote for the hot cloth cleanser... love the original and pineapple, the rose not so much. Leaves my skin feeling so soft. HR hair oil is also great. Not impressed with some Lacura mascara I bought recently; it ran at the slightest hint of moisture...

Lovelysummerdays · 10/05/2025 21:59

They had a really good concealer in a gold tube. I’m hoping it comes back

I think thats a YSL touche eclat dupe. Its fab but doesn’t come back often enough for me as im obsessed with it.
w7 online and in The Range do the same thing in 3 shades, but without the gold tube just plastic

greengreyblue · 11/05/2025 09:05

I was in yesterday and none of these products were there. I don’t understand why they produce it then stop. It obviously sells well.
