False Nails?

I want some false nails to wear just a few hours a day and then take them off.

I'm totally clueless about this sort of thing and have never had fake nails before.

I'm assuming that if I stick them on with glue, they'll be there for quite a while?

So is it sticky pads or something I'm after?

Go and have a look in boots. They do press on ones with pads or glue on ones so you will be able to see what your options are before you buy. The sticky pads sound like they would be best if it’s just for a few hours, glue can last a week or more.

Elegant Touch are brilliant, I always use them for special occasions. I like the 114 French, they look really natural and not too long.
Buy a bottle of brush on glue, it's less fiddly than the tube.
Once I have the nail in place, I put a wooden clothes peg on the fingertip while the nail 'sets'.
I have known them to last 10 days!
