I need help getting an outfit for a wedding. Service and party both at hotel. I’m size 18, 5’1, big boobs. I might be a size 16 by the wedding, might be a 20(have a health condition with a side effect of erratic weight gain/loss - no control over it). Housebound a fair bit of the time - can get out a little, but need to reserve as much energy as can on days I can for my kids, sometimes bedbound so limited options. Wedding in a couple of weeks. Eeek! I have no idea of my style now as was a size 10 with size b/c boobs before got ill. Please help!

How formal is the wedding, what is your budget and what kind of colours do you prefer?

I would go for a wrap dress - can be adjusted for whether you're smaller or bigger.

Not sure about your price range, preffered colours etc. but as a starter suggestion how about this, know it's shown as a potential bridesmaid dress, but as long as they aren't wearing the same colour!! with gold or silver accessories it would look lovely, also in petite https://www.evans.co.uk/yours-london-curve-navy-blue-lace-wrap-ruffle-midi-dress

I think wrap dresses are the worst for big boobs unless you are happy to wear a vest or cami underneath - otherwise they can be a bit Bet Lynch. Nobody's Child is a good starting point for dresses as they have a petite range and quite a few of their dresses are well cut for boobs. https://www.nobodyschild.com/collections/petite-dresses

Thanks so much. I don’t have a strict budget, but will be looking lower end. I’m sorry but the invite is downstairs and I’m bedbound today. I know it’s not black tie - think it said something like dress to impress or dress to party. Jewel colours suit me, but can/could get away with most colours. Wrap dresses don’t suit me ☹️. Something that covers top of arms at least too, but not full sleeve as dwarfs me.
