Shapewear

I need to buy some shapewear knickers. I’m a size 12/14.
Thongs or knickers for under shorts
Short style pants for under dresses
BodySuit for under either.
The only issue I’ve had with bodysuits in the past is that they seem to be made for shorter women, I’m 5ft 7.
Trying to flatten my stomach, so something firm. High street prices please (M&S, Next sort of thing)
Any suggestions?

I always size up in bodysuits as I hate it when they’re tight on the gusset.
I often wear one as outerwear and I have a fab one from M&S. It says light control but I find it quite firm.
