Wide leg trousers.

I love the look of wide leg trousers for summer on the models. I am slim but curvy around hips and thighs but long legs so thought they would be OK. I ordered some pink ones on Next.
Tried them on....and looked like a garden gnome. Absolutely horrible.
They are going back in the next post.
I guess you have to be tall and willowy to wear these. I'm gutted.

Have you tried darker colours?

Try navy or black.

As with any other trouser shape, it depends on the cut! All my trousers & jeans are wide-legged and look fine on my chunky, oblong body ... except one ghastly pair, also pink, which are cut like two bags (for want of a better description).

You might feel like trying some wide flares, flaring from the hip, 70s-style, which in my opinion is a flattering shape, or some barrel-legs that curve in towards the ankle.

I think wide legs are on their way out - though not from my wardrobe! I don't think you should give up yet, though. A good pair's really pleasant to wear.

You could try palazzo style ones.
Wide legs on trousers make me look like a garden gnome too. I'm in straight trousers.

I have some black ones too, the shape just doesn't suit me at all. They make me look fat and im not any more.
They look lovely and cool to wear.
I've got some below the knee white slim leg crops and they do look nice so I'll wear those.
