Flat/low wedding shoes??

I'm thinking of wearing this to my son's wedding. Bought it and it looks nice.

It's a chilled summer outdoor event with grass (weather permitting) so wedges or flat shoes or low block heels are what I need. I'm 5'10 and much larger than I'd like to be (working on it but being realistic!) but think the dress will suit me shape wise.

Happy for a contrasting colour and no-one will be wearing hats.

I think your dress is lovely but regarding shoes I cannot help other than to suggest silver or gold flat sandals. Hopefully you will get help from other people. I am sure you will enjoy the special event.

Block heels are definitely a good idea but would prefer something flatter - I definitely feel too tall.

I think I'm awkward with shoes - thank you for looking. I will try a pair of real flats - will order a couple of pairs from Next and give it a go. I have some Hobbs navy wedges (Charlotte I believe) I bought for a different wedding and never wore because they are quite high. I should wear or sell I guess. Maybe I have two pairs and swap half way through.
