Navy mascara?

Does anyone know off a brand selling navy (and or grey) mascara? I've got the Maybelline Sky High one in bright blue but I would like to try something darker.

Kiko Milano do a nice navy one, it doesn’t smudge at all which is my main criteria with my oily skin.

Phunkychicken · 02/05/2025 07:21

ooh thanks, I think they do a grey too. Will have a look

I use Max Factor MasterpieceMax in Deep Blue, non clumping, would really recommend.

Kiko milano have discontinued their navy and grey mascara. I'll look at the Max Factor one thanks @JamesGetIn and there's a no7 one too (Intense Volume). Can only find grey in Chanel, tried it before and really didn't like it, flaky and clumpy

Ooh, interesting. Had my make up done to go on telly recently and the MUA used a navy mascara. As someone who was a teen in the 80s I was a bit sceptical, but it was surprisingly nice

Mina at siperdrug do.colours

Diorshow comes in navy

Ooh may try this I feel black can be too dark as I’m aging Shock but find brown just doesn’t cut it . Does anyone know how it actually looks - is it obviously blue? Or just softer or brighter then black Hmm

CushionsandThrows · 02/05/2025 08:50

I recently bought the No.7 one and it's OK but not a patch on Maybelline Sky High for lengthening lashes. The colour is fine but, to be honest, I can't see that it looks much different to black. I've taken to putting a light layer of black Sky High and then adding a second thicker coat of the No.7 in navy.

I think it's just like a softer black, not blue obviously like the brighter blue ones are. That's what I'm hoping at least.

I am neutral toned black can be too harsh and browns too warm too. The Beauty Pie brown is more mahogany/burgundy and just makes my eyes look sore!

Hah. I get that too with some shades of brown.

@Bossyboo I find it's just softer and a bit brightening, not obviously blue.

I’ve worn this navy No7 one for years https://www.boots.com/no7-intense-volume-mascara-10143397?srsltid=AfmBOorJ7AxpwCgJ2aC7meZLWxT3bWQkfibshAxtd3JQYAUdK153-Mqf

Like a pp I’m fair skinned and black doesn’t suit me. Navy just looks right imo.

I wear this one. I love it x

Jasmin71 · 02/05/2025 10:41

Butterflies eyecare do 2 different blue shades and a grey.

Bossyboo · 02/05/2025 10:50

Thanks for the feedback I think I’ll give it a whirl! Smile

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 02/05/2025 10:52

Eyeko is my go to , they do colours (cocoa brown is more subtle than black ) I have a blue (bright) but I layer it over brown.
And as its in a tube you can squish it not pump the wand in the tube which dries out your mascara

<Disclaimer : teen in the 80s>
Blue mascara was the thing , but if you wanted a more tined down look the beauty magazines adviced either putting on the ends over black/brown or using as a base then black.brown ends .

Viva la bleu

This so makes me think of Diana PoW - she loved lashings of navy mascara!
