Suits and other work wear

The time has come for to to return to work after a few years as a SAHM.

For my industry I’ll need a couple of suits, for interviews and formal meetings and then smart casual for general office days.

where do people buy suits?

(Budget at the lower end ideally. I’m normally a sale shopper)

It’s a boring answer but for lower to mid range suits you’d probably do better at

M&Spencer

or

Arket

than at anywhere ostensibly more exciting. Is that the sort of price range you were thinking of?

If you can be flexible on colour

The Outnet

is often worth patient browsing.

Although it may well be that even for interviews and formal meetings you would be fine - particularly in the middle of a heat wave - with a good, professional looking dress.

dd Got hers from Next. M&S was rubbish

Thanks both.

I hadn’t thought of Arket so that’s worth a peruse and I wouldn’t have thought of the outer but I can be flexible-ish on colour. Not neon levels of flex but some

Next never seems to fit me right - I’m obviously the wrong shape for them.

Cos is geared to contemporary workwear of course, but the best pieces do cost more:
