Do I need moisturiser and SPF or is just SPF ok?

I'm sure this has been done a million times but... As an almost 50 year old do I need both (I know I need SPF). I feel like both is heavy on my face and adds time to my morning routine waiting for everything to settle into my skin.

Can anyone recommend an SPF that is moisturising/hydrating and gives proper, proven protection (factor 50)?

Edited to say not ££££ but doesn't have to be super budget either.

I’ve got the cerave moisturiser with factor 50 spf in that goes on nice and isn’t too heavy. Just feels like a normal moisturiser not like sun cream

Thank you.

I have the Cerave one too - but I'm not sure how good the sun protection is? I'm always a bit unsure about products that are primarily moisturisers with SPF added, if you see what I mean.
