T-shirts but not...

I'm after smart-ish tops, that are as simple as a tshirt, but not in jersey fabric, and I can't find anything.

I've moved jobs from media where i wore plain t-shirts a lot, but they're not appropriate in my new more formal environment.

Can you suggest simple tops, without collars that aren't jersey fabric or look more high end and formal than typical tshirt fabric?
