1930s outfit

Hi all. Not sure if this is the right place but I’m going to a 1930s evening and want to look the part. I’m thinking a cloche hat, although is that more 1920s? What else would be good? I don’t have a massive budget as this outfit won’t be worn again! Thanks.

As it's an evening event, you won't need a hat. As you're on a small budget, you could just wear wide legged trousers with a short sleeved fitted top. Jazz it up with costume jewellery from a charity shop. Google will provide plenty of style ideas for 1930s evening dresses (long, slinky, cut on the bias), which you could then buy on Vinted. If you can find some gold or silver evening shoes there, that would add to the look (again, Google for 30s styles). Overall, you'll be aiming for elegant, chic glamour.
