Updating wardrobe - please help!

I am desperately out of the loop with fashion and need help dressing a totally ‘new’ body after having my son 2 years ago and a rough few years not looking after myself very well. My wardrobe is current full with size 8 skinny jeans and tight tops, all of which are too small or unflattering. I feel ready to start taking care of myself again which includes dressing to make me feel happy!

I am a size 10/12, 30 years old, 5ft4, looking for ‘everyday’ wear suggestions that suit mum life, but also make me feed good. I love colour and print. Any suggestions of styles, places to shop, particular pieces that you love, please let me know! Thank you

There's a style and beauty board on here which will have suggestions.

Try to find real people, celebs or influences with the same body shape and colouring as you and see whose style you like.

@Boymama14
Bumping for you - also I’ve asked if MN can move your post into Style & Beauty as you will probably get more responses there.

There’s heaps of choice for everyday clothes - but two obvious places to start (depending on your budget and tastes) might be

Uniqlo

Community Clothing

For even more colour:

American Vintage is brilliant, and also has a permanent Outlet store on the same website.

And I’d add:

Free People as the clothes look like a 365 day holiday.

@Boymama14 there are already countless threads on this subject - but you may garner more responses if you give an approximate budget. And some idea of your lifestyle.
