Lipstick help for a newbie

I’m looking for a non-drying lipstick which is close in colour to my blusher (Westman Atilier in Petal). I’ve wiped the colour across my lips & it looks lovely, but the texture is horrible. Can anyone recommend a non-drying lipstick which might work?

I do have quite dry lips & have never worn lipstick before, so any suggestions on that would be appreciated too!

decide what coverage you want light medium sheer or full
at night wear a lip balm to prep and soften lips
