I desperately need some new pants. Beyond M&S, where is good to shop for good quality pants that wash well and keep their shape please? Are Sloggi good?

Sloggi are better than M&S I think, though relatively expensive when you accidentally choose a grandma style. But retain shape etc well in wash

The primark ones are amazing. About £1 a pair and wash beautifully. I have had some pairs for 5+ years and still wash like new.

I recently went on a month long trekking holiday with mates. Some of them bought Primark pants on my recommendation. Their plan was to throw them away as we travelled to lighten the load on the backpacks. They were so impressed with the quality that after the second week they started keeping them as they were far too good to dispose of.

Sainsbury’s not at all bad either.

John Lewis Anyday. Bonus you get free delivery to a local Waitrose (if you live near one). Hold their shape, really good quality.

I get most of my cotton pants from George at Asda.
