Denim jackets button up?

I’ve got two denim jackets neither of them can I do up - but seeing most people wearing them, you wear them open? Is that right?

I've never buttoned a denim jacket up in over 45 years of wearing them!

I’ve only ever buttoned mine up twice when it was much colder than I was expecting.

I’ve seen some done up e.g. on Muji website but they were looser fit ones.

Yep leave it unbuttoned.

Alot of people don't seem to mind if they don't do up.
I don't do mine up but I think it would bug me if I didn't have the option!😁

Mmmm kind of know what you mean. The new one I’ve got fits everywhere else tho just not the buttons! Maybe it’s all the Easter eggs I ate.

Ive never worn mine buttoned up, but I think they look better oversized and I always think they look too tight if worn so small that they couldn't be fastened.
