Recommendations for flattering wide legged navy linen trousers please

Yes, I could order loads to try but would like personal experiences. I’m a 14 (M&S 12), pear, heavy thighs, bit of a tum. 5’6”
I had some great ones from Next a good few years back, I have a Boden pair - again from a few years ago, but they are baggy round my hips and not flattering.
wide, but not palazzo. Any suggestions?

M&S wide leg linen trousers are always a great fit and comfortable to wear

I tried to M&S ones recently. They were a good fit and reasonable price. I couldn't justify buying them at the time but gave wondered about going back for them since.

I only ever buy wide-legged trousers from M&S as I know the 12L always fits (I'm 50 with a fluctuating peri-menopausal middle and 5ft11) so there's less risk of them being ankle-grazers than with other brands. I probably should venture out a bit into other brands but I can't be bothered with managing returns.
