My 60 year old skin is in suddenly need of a richer or better body moisturiser as it’s very dry - please recommend me a good product. Am happy to spend up to £20.

I love Aveeno moisturising cream. Soaks in really quick. And keeps your skin soft for a long time. I've tried others but always go back to this one. Great for hands too.

How about a body oil, the Aveeno one is nice

ToBeOrNotToBee · 27/04/2025 22:04

Doublebase

honeyfox · 27/04/2025 22:08

Yes the Aveeno cream oil is very good!

Nuxe oil is also lovely and smells great.

Nivea soft is lovely if you can find a non vegan formula.

I use Cetaphil on my face and body, I really love it. It’s a large white pot with green lid and is usually less that £15 on Amazon.

LezUlez · 27/04/2025 22:24

Weleda Skin Food, it smells lovely and has natural ingredients

BlooBear · 27/04/2025 22:25

I really like good old Astral in the blue tub.

Soap and Glory but the coconut one. Smells divine, smooth skin

Pai skincare body cream - it’s so rich - my dry skin loves it, smells amazing, organic, British company and is sold online, whole foods, John Lewis etc. It’s just over £20 for a really big tube

Retiredearly61 · 27/04/2025 22:49

This is fab

ameliorate transforming body lotion, on offer on Amazon at the moment

uncomfortablydumb60 · 28/04/2025 00:08

Cetaphil( Green tub) or Cerave( blue tub) both very similar ingredients, and very good

uncomfortablydumb60 · 28/04/2025 00:09

Should say lid. Both tubs are white

Balneum - either in your local pharmacy or online. Big bottle for around £20.
