DMs in summer

Hi I just got a pair of fur lined dr martens in the sale… my question is it acceptable to wear them with dresses in summer? Or is that weird?

i have Serena, Leonore, and Alyson all fur lined and wear with summer dresses

How would you not sweat your feet off?

I feel weird about wearing my non fur lined DMs from April onwards so it would be a definite no from me!

Wear whatever you like, you don’t need anyone’s approval! Personally though, I think that any kind of boots look a bit weird May-September.

Weird only in the sense you will get very hot and sweaty feet.

But I am baised as I hate wearing shoes and socks - I was so happy it was warm enough yesterday to wesr my sandals.
