Ombré brows anyone?

Hi, I’ve got an appointment for this on Friday and I’m getting cold feet! Mostly about them turning out the wrong shape, or too dark, or that it’ll be too painful.

If you’ve had this, how did you choose the shape and colour or did you just accept the therapist’s advice?

And, most importantly, were you pleased with the results?

Thanks!

I am three weeks post top up. They look very natural and a lovely shape. I actually wish they were a bit darker but that may still happen as they apparently show their full colour 4-6 weeks after the top up.

I didn't find it painful. She did use numbing cream so that probably helped.

A good practitioner will discuss colour and shape with you before committing to anything. Mine made sure I was happy with everything before she went ahead.

Be sure to follow the aftercare instructions properly or else the colour might not take and it'll be a costly mistake.

Good luck. You'll love them and wish you'd done it sooner!

I love mine, they do look too dark at first but that passes and it becomes so much betters. I get lots of compliments. The he therapist chose my colour and shape. I'm pleased with both and have had it redone a couple of times.

Microblading on my brows was one of the best things I have done! I am due my annual top up and can’t wait.

I absolutely LOVE my ombre powder brows, had them done 4 years ago and had them topped up last year for the first time. I was terrified of them being too dark and initially thought they were, however they settle and fade so don't freak out when they are first done. Absolute game changer.

I think it’s the idea of them being really prominent and obvious to folk that’s worrying me. People probably won’t even notice… you think?

People will notice in the first week. A couple of people commented on mine but only in a positive way. Both women (from work) asked if I'd had them done and said they looked really nice. I felt like mine looked ok initially and not too dark. It was the scabbing stage at around day 5 that looked really dodgy. Fortunately I managed to work from home around that time so I got away with it. I do think it's all worth it in the long run though to have lovely, natural looking brows.
